February Beauty

How could I write a February favourites post without talking about the Nars Narcissist Palette?! The eyeshadow palette that is probably featured in everyones favourite posts this month! My favourite shade of the moment is Ashes To Ashes, a perfect wash of colour all over the lid when needing to rush out the door, it's one of the eyeshadows I was thinking about buying before I knew this palette existed. The palette also contains one of my favourite Nars eyeshadows from the All About Eve duo, the first shadow on the top row.

I hate washing make-up brushes but this brush cleanser from Pro Hygiene Collection means I can quickly spot clean brushes and they're dry in a matter of seconds. Also the packaging of this is so much better compared to the Mac brush cleanser as it's a spray bottle.

I haven't been wearing this perfume on an every day basis, instead I've been reaching for the Fresh Fig Perfume from Laura Mercier of a weekend after I've used the bath products from the same range and want the scent to last longer. Although I don't do it often, this makes an amazing room spray! This is your usual fig scent but with notes of vanilla, sandalwood and musk.

I wrote about using the Super Facialist By Una Brennan Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil in my Sunday Pamper post yesterday but I've been using it a couple of times a week this month as my skin has been really dry. It's definitely improved though and this is down to this product. It's a pre-cleanse oil that is incredibly moisturising and I always notice a difference to my skin after I've used it.

My nail polish pick from this past month has to be Orly's Coachella Dweller which I have also featured in a Sunday Pamper post. This is a bit different from the mint greens I usually gravitate towards but for some reason I've just wanted to wear this dirty pastel green more often.

I'm not a huge jewelry wearer aside from a dainty necklace. I love how everyone else accessorizes but for some reason I just never seem to be able to pair things together well and get it right. Am I the only one? I'll see instragrams of bracelet and watch combinations that I love or statement necklaces but when I try do it, it just doesn't work. I've been loving midi rings at the moment though and paired with a perfect manicure, you just can't go wrong. I've bought mine from Primark, Forever 21 and River Island.

I think I've found an alternative to By Terrys Baume De Rose! Although only slightly less expensive, Dior's Creme De Rose is the lip balm I've been reach for this month, even over By Terry!

  1. If only the Narsissist palette was in my February favorites! Sadly it was out of my budget but hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on it at some point! I'm also a huge fan of my Dior Creme de Rose and just this morning I hit the bottom in the center *tear*.
