Minimising The Stash // Eyes

The compartments that hold all my eye products are probably the messiest and the fullest. I'm a nude eyeshadow obsessive and I own far too many black eye liners. I swatched every single eye liner and got rid of bright colours I've never used and liners that aren't very pigmented or hard and scratchy. I still have too many black eye liners for one person but at least I know I'll use them all. I no longer have that bright electric blue liner that I wouldn't ever use but kept just in case.

As for eye shadows, surprisingly the only part of my collection that didn't need tidying was the compartment that holds my palettes. I think this is simply because I cannot fit anything else in here that it just has to stay tidy otherwise the drawer will not close. I went through every single eyeshadow and threw away some that I've had for about ten years and probably haven't used for at least five years. I also got rid of that purple shadow that I thought looked good but really didn't. I made use of the Urban Decay build your own palette and put my single UD shadows in there which created a bit of extra space.

To tidy up my mascaras I only kept the two that I'm currently using in my make-up drawer and put those that are unopened in different storage. This also means I wont be tempted to open a new mascara when I don't really need to. The compartment that holds cream shadows, eye shadow primers and various eyebrow products didn't need much of a sort through and just needed a tidy.
