This year my skin has become a lot drier than usual so I've had to up the moisturising levels of the products I use. The Elemental Herbology balm and Weleda Skin Food have become products I use on a daily basis for my hands and elbow instead of every now and again. I've enjoyed using the Float Away Milk Soak I bought in the sales this time last year as it smells nice, is hydrating and turns the water milky. It also does a pretty good job at creating bubbles as well. I've still been using Lush though and one of my favourites from this years Christmas is the Holy Golightly Bubble Bar. It's not a new release but one I always buy each year.
The red bumps on the tops of my arms that are so hard to get rid of have flared up again this winter and the only product that works in the Clarins Renew-Plus Body Serum. I discovered this product when watching Caroline's Bathroom video with Sali Hughes. I love the almost perfume scent of it and it works so well at smoothing my skin and also moisturising it.
Not only has my skin been drier, but my hair has as well. The original Elasticizer from PK was working well at keeping my hair looking and feeling nice but I felt like I needed something more. This is where the Elasticizer Extreme comes in. Since this is so powerful, I don't need to use it often. To combat the dryness of my scalp, an application of the Fushi scalp oil has become a weekly occurrence.
I haven't worn nail polish much this winter but when I have I've chosen one of these three shades from OPI with Alpine Snow acting as the base for the two glitters. I'll be posting NOTD's over the next few weeks.
What are your winter must haves?
Is that DS Glow I spy? One of my favourite shades, I think I need to use it again soon!x
