Project Sample Use Up 030
Neals Yard Power Berry Daily Moisturiser // I think this came with a magazine subscription although I had wanted to try more Neals Yards products for a while. It's a brand I don't hear too much about but I really liked this moisturiser and it was a really good size as well. I'm happy with the moisturiser I'm using at the moment, Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream, but I'd keep this in mind for a future purchase.
Anatomy Body Oil // I liked that this was in a spray bottle as it made it easier to apply. I only tend to use body oils during the winter though when my skin is at it's driest. This didn't have much of a smell so I think I'll stick with Caudalies Divine Oil which is what I'm currently using.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate x2 // I'm still not sure if I like this serum/oil despite also having the full size bottle as well. I find it doesn't sink into my skin very well and I hate the feeling of product sitting on top of my skin. Like I've said in my review of it the other month, it's one I'm still trying to find the best way to use it.
Silk + Honey Shea Butter Hair Mask // This hair mask from Silk + Honey is one that you actually mix together yourself although I got it ready made as it was in a beauty box. They're expensive but would make a fun gift for someone beauty obsessed. It was a nice hair mask but I don't think I'd but it myself.
Mitchell And Peach English Flowers Shower Wash & Body Cream // I think I got these in two separate beauty boxes but it was nice to be able to use the two together. When using bath and body products I always like to match the scents if I can or use scents that are similar. These reminded me of the sort of products you'd find in your hotel bathroom but I wouldn't buy the full sizes.
Maddi Alexander Evocative Bath Oil // This is a mix of lime, ginger, cinnamon and mandarin oils and was a nice bath oil. I'm currently using one from Aromatherapy Associates so I don't need to buy another one any time soon.
Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Morning Eye Rescue x3 // I find it really hard to find an eye cream that I really like as the skin around my eyes is very sensitive. If my skin doesn't like an eye cream then milia appears which is almost impossible to get rid of. Luckily this eye cream didn't cause me any skin irritations as it has a very light cream, almost gel like, texture.
Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum x2 // This is one of my favourite serums and I've already been through two full size bottles as well as several of these mini tubes. It works perfectly at keeping my dry skin hydrated without feeling like I'm even wearing anything. It's also a great layering product and works well with any of the moisturisers I've used along side it. I love the scent, which all of the Vinosource products have, and I'm sure I'll be buying another bottle at some point.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet x2 // There aren't many facial moisturisers that I love and would repurchase but this is one of them. As soon as a I tried a sample of it I knew I just had to buy the full size which I quickly finished. Luckily I was able to carry on with these two mini tubes before I needed to buy a new one. I'm currently trying to finish what I'm using before buying anything new but this is on my to buy list. It's light but moisturising and one I like to use mainly in the summer months.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Mattifying Fluid x2 // I have pretty dry skin so anything that has mattifying in the name I tend to stay away from. I find they aren't moisturising enough but this could be a good one for those with oily skin.
Caudalie Vinosource Intense Moisture Rescue Cream x2 // I actually used these during the winter even though I'm only talking about them now. Think of the moisturising sorbet but a thicker version that is perfect for dry skin. I'll be buying a full size tube just in time for when the weather starts to get colder.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisture Recovery Cream x3 // I used this when my eczema was flaring up on my face and it helped to soothe my dry chapped skin. This is another one I'll keep on my to buy list especially if my eczema flares up this winter like it did these past few months..
Wow, you did a great job with empties- how long did it take to use all that? Some months I'm great, others I only get through 3 or 4 items.
