Current Favourites 001

I stopped posting montlhy favourites in August so I thought it was about time I shared my current favourites. There's been a couple of products that I've reached for a lot more than others lately.

Firstly is a mask that has quickly become one of my favourites. With the weather continuously getting colder my skin gets drier so this hydrating mask from Aveda is an essential. I simply apply a thick layer after cleansing and leave it on for about 15 minutes and rinse away any excess. My skin is left feeling and looking a lot less dry and I find serum and moisturiser sinks in a lot better after using this.

Seventeen Doll'd Up Mascara is an unexpected favourite as I only bought it because I had a discount voucher from Boots and only ended up paying a couple of pounds for it. I really like the curved plastic wand and it holds a curl really well. It works really well on my bottom lashes as well and doesn't smudge or flake off.

The Super Facialist By Una Brennan Miracle Makeover Facial Oil is another one that has become a favourite very quickly. Even just after the first use I knew it was a great product. You apply this to dry skin before you cleanse and massage into the skin, rinse away and follow up with your usual cleanser. It does leave an oily residue on the skin, which is removed with a cleanser, it really helps to hydrate the skin and makes dry patches disappear.

The Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask has been the perfect thing to soothe my eyes as I had a really bad cold last month and they were incredibly puffy. I also really want to buy the roll on version to keep on my bedside table or in my bag.

Finally another skin care product that has become my go to serum: Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Serum. I fell in love with this when I was given a tiny sample pot of it and finally I have the full size. This soothes my skin as well as keeps it hydrated and reduces redness.

  7. i have that aveda mask and i love it! it's funny, i never really see it around on blogs much and i have no idea why! it's super hydrating (i like to put some on overnight and cleanse to remove it in the morning) and it's in a MASSIVE tube so it'll last forever. most masks seem to be around 50ml but as you know this one is 150ml! it's really surprising that i don't see it around much cause it's such a great product.
