Empties: October 2013
Korres Fig Shower Gel - I love the scent of this one, it smells just like fresh figs and was a perfect scent for summer. I also love the formula of Korres shower gels and how nice they feel on the skin, not at all drying. I have a couple more of these mini bottles and a million other shower gels to use first, but I would buy this one again, probably next summer or spring.
Burberry Body Perfume - I am so sad to see this perfume empty! It's my favourite at the moment and the one I get the most compliments and what perfume are you wearing questions when wearing it. I want to finish at least another full size perfume before I buy this again. I don't like to have too many perfumes at one time as they do go off.
Nip + Fab Mango Smoothie Body Butter - I really liked the scent of this body butter when I first used it, it reminded me of mango sherbet. The more I used it though the more I hated the scent. Luckily it was only a small tub as I don't think I could have finished the full size. I really liked the body butter itself so I've already bought the pistachio version.
Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Body Scrub - Despite loving all the other Soap & Glory body scrubs I've tried, I really didn't like this one. I bought it because so many people raved about it but I really should have just stuck with the Breakfast Scrub or Sugar Crush. I liked the scent in the shop but the more I used it, the more I hated it. By the end of the tube, I really couldn't stand the scent. It also wasn't a very good scrub. I liked that it turned foamy on the skin but the actual scrub particles were tiny. I definitely will not be buying this one again.
Philip Kingsley Moisture Extreme Conditioner - I really liked this conditioner and it made a massive difference to how soft my hair felt and I noticed less frizz when I used it. I will be buying the full size once I've finished the other conditioners I have.
Moroccan Oil Dry Scalp Treatment Oil - This is another one that I'm sad to see finished as it doesn't seem to be available on Feel Unqiue anymore so I'll have to find another place to sell it. I apply this all over my scalp a few hours before I'm washing my hair, sometimes the day before so I leave it on over night, and let the oil soak in. This makes a huge difference to dry patches and I'll be buying another bottle as soon as possible.
Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Scalp Toner - This is another one that I bought the full size of even before finishing the product. This is another product that has made a huge difference to how my scalp feels. I've noticed a lot less dry patches and my scalp is definitely less itchy. I'm so glad I tried this! I also really like the whole process of applying it as the coldness of the toner really helps to soothe my scalp.
Barefoot Rosa Fina Intensive Eye Serum - This is called an eye serum but to me it just felt like a normal eye cream, perhaps just a little bit lighter. It's nothing like the Espa eye serum which is really runny. I did like this one and enjoyed using it but I much prefer the eye cream from balance Me.
Sally Hansen Winter Funderland Real Nail Polish Strips - What surprised me the most about these nail strips was how easy it was to remove despite the glitter. I simply used the Bourjois nail polish remover pot and only had to pick a couple of the larger pieces of glitter off with my nails. They also lasted a decent amount of time before I got bored of the pattern. I'm going to buy some more once I've used the other pattern I have.
Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Mineral Hair Rescue Masque - I saw this in Boots a couple of months back and thought I'd try it as it was only a couple of pounds. This would be perfect for traveling as I got two uses out of it and it actually closes with a tiny lid. The hair mask itself is great and made my hair feel incredibly soft. I have a million and one other hair masks to get through but I'd definitely buy this again and look to see if a full size is available, which I'm sure there is.
Figs & Rouge Balm - This technically isn't an empty as it's hardly been used but I'm throwing it away. I've had it for well over a year and stupidly haven't touched it since as I really liked it the few times I tried it. The scent has disappeared which is usually a sign a product has gone off. Once I've gone through my huge lip balm collection, I might buy this one again and actually use it, it was a really nice multi use balm.
Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub - Oh how I hated this product! I am so glad to see this empty and that I don't have to force myself to use it anymore. I spent £6 on it so I didn't want to throw it away despite how much I hated it. As far as the product itself goes, it was ok. It was a bit on the dry side so the sugar didn't stick to the lips very well. It did make them very smooth though but it was the scent/taste I didn't like. I like popcorn, I like salted popcorn and I like sweet popcorn so I thought I'd love this but I was wrong. I wont be buying a different flavour, instead I'm going to try one from another brand.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - I had one use left in this tube and it's been sitting at the back of my cupboard unused so this was an easy one to finish. This used to by holy grail cleanser and I used it for about 5 years but for some reason I just don't like it as much anymore. I don't know if it's because they've changed the formula slightly or if it's my own skin that has changed but I'm finding it a struggle to finish up the couple of travel sized tubes I have left. Once they're all finished I don't think I'll be buying another tube again for a while.
Tresemme Platinum Strength 60 Second Treatment Shot* - I've wanted to try this hair treatment for such a long time but it was always sold out but I finally got it in a Glossybox. I got two uses out of the tube but I do have very long hair so if yours was shorter, you'd probably get three or four. I was really impressed with it, it made my hair feel and look extremely soft and you only have to leave it on for 60 seconds. I have a million other hair masks to use but I will be buying a tube in the future.
Caudalie Vinotherapie Hand & Nail Cream - I am so sad to see this hand cream empty! I used it up so quickly as I loved it so much. I kept it in my desk at work and was constantly applying it throughout the day and it's really helped the dryness and eczema on my hands. No matter how much you apply, it doesn't feel greasy and sinks in really well. I also loved the scent! I've already bought the grapefruit version but I will keep on buying them. I wish you could get it in a bigger tube although this size is perfect for your bag.
Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express mascara - I really didn't like this mascara and included it in my disappointing products post. I liked how black it was and the formula but it was the brush that I didn't like. I always prefer plastic wands to brushes so thought I'd like this one. I'm glad I tried it so now I know I don't like it.
Sally Hansen Maximum Growth Cuticle & Nail Treatment - This was another product that only had a couple of uses left, can you see a pattern forming? I buy a product and use it a lot but once I buy something newer it gets pushed to the back of my stash. This is perfect to keep in your handbag or at your desk as the packaging means no mess. It also has a lovely almond/marzipan scent! I would buy another one of these but I already have an OPI version which is very similar.
E.L.F Lash & Brow Clear Mascara - Despite how cheap this is, I think about £1.50, it works really well at holding my eyebrows in place all day without adding any colour. I used both sides on my eyebrows and they worked the same despite one being for your eye lashes. I would buy this again but I'll probably just pick a clear mascara up from Boots as I don't want to pay shipping for just one E.L.F product.
I feel the exact same about perfume. I have so many I want to buy, but I have so many already that I want to use some up first.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who cannot stand the Popcorn Lip Scrub- so disappointing since I love virtually everything in Lush, you name it I've tried it and liked it, but this..Uggh just no. :( Bubblegum is definitely the best, and tastes much nicer!
