Boots was having it's annual summer points event the other week where you got £7.50 worth of points when you spend £30 so I couldn't help myself and went into town. I made a list of what I wanted so I wouldn't risk any extra purchases and I did quite well. Only one item wasn't on my list!

Vera Wang Love Struck has been on my wishlist ever since it came out and I've finally bought it. I went for the 50ml which was over £30 so I ended up buying it separate to everything else so I got two lots of 750 points. The notes are pink guava, angelica flower, mandarin, indian jasmine sambac, tuberose buds, blue lotus blosso, sheer musk, precious woods and vanilla. It has a lot of the usual notes that I like in perfumes and I've been wearing it every day.

I had planned to buy a lot more of the Barry M Gelly nail polishes but when I actually looked at them in person I didn't really like them or had a similar colour already. There were three that I wanted but there wasn't a 3 for 2 offer on so I only got two of them. Next time I'm in Boots I'll be picking up Lychee but this time I bought Papaya and Blue Gape. There was a free nail polish offer if you spent £6 so I went for the neon pink but it does look very thin, might need a white polish underneath.

Instead of buying more nail polishes I bought a couple more Maybelline Colour Tattoos than I was planning on. On my list was On And On Bronze, Permanent Taupe and Pink Gold all of which I've been wearing a lot recently, especially Permanent Taupe. I'm a bit disappointed with the other three though, Immortal Charcoal, Eternal Gold and Metallic Pomegranate. They aren't as smooth and creamy as the others and don't blend into the skin as nicely either.

Another brand that had the 3 for 2 offer on was Soap & Glory so I bought a couple of the Mother Pucker Glossy Sticks in Bashful, Plum Jam and Nudist. I've completely fallen in love with these and will be buying the other colours soon. They're pigmented, hydrating and smell amazing as well as being a bit glossy.

Finally I bought two hair products, one planned and one unexpected. I wanted a cheaper shine spray to feature in my Vs post from the other day and I went for this Lee Stafford one. While looking for the shine spray I came across this hair mask sachet and was intrigued about it so I bought it. It's a single use or two of the Mineral Hair Rescue Mask so you can try it before buying the full size.
